🏆 Selected Honors

  • Third Grand Award - Regeneron ISEF (2025). Among ~1,700 finalists from 60+ countries. For NEPTUNE: predicting unseen exoplanets from transit-timing variations.
  • Second Prize - EU Contest for Young Scientists, EUCYS (2023), Brussels. The EU's flagship science contest (136 finalists from 36 countries); represented Canada. For algorithms determining asteroids' physical properties, applied to NASA's DART mission.
  • NASA Group Achievement Award (2025). As a member of the DART Period Change Determination Team, for the first measurement of the change in an asteroid's orbital motion caused by a kinetic impact - part of NASA's Planetary Defense program.
  • Masason Scholarship (2024–ongoing). Full undergraduate scholarship, awarded for planetary-defence research.
  • Foresight Fellow - Planetary Defense Fellowship (2025). A selective fellowship from the Foresight Institute.
  • Best Project Award, Canada-Wide Science Fair (Youth Science Canada) - 2023 and 2022 (back-to-back). Top project prize at Canada’s national science fair.
  • Young Astronomer & Excellence in Astronomy Awards - Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. From Canada's national astronomy society (RASC).
  • City of Toronto Open Data Award (2026). Second place, for the "Better My City" open-data civic project.
  • Public Spaces Champion (2026). Named by City Councillor Ausma Malik (Ward 10, Toronto) for civic advocacy on safer, more accessible public spaces.
